AnyDesk On-Premises Solution for Enterprise Customers in Colombia

At AnyDesk, we offer an On-Premises option, specifically tailored for our Enterprise customers in Colombia. This solution allows you to host your own AnyDesk appliance server on your network and hardware, whether physical or virtual.

Please note:

Due to system limitations, the feature “Automatically register the client to the Address Book” is currently not available for On-Premises clients.

Rest assured, we are actively working on making this feature available, although a specific ETA cannot be provided at this time.

By hosting your own AnyDesk server and database, you gain several advantages, some of which are highlighted below.

Enhanced Client Connectivity Control:

Only custom clients created from your my.anydesk.com customer portal can connect to each other. This means that standard AnyDesk clients from our website or custom clients from other customers cannot connect to your AnyDesk clients, ensuring that only your clients can access your AnyDesk appliance server.

For added security, you can further restrict connections to devices on your internal network by using third-party VPN software in conjunction with the On-Premises custom client. By hosting the AnyDesk appliance server in a DMZ on your network, it becomes accessible only from IP addresses within your network. External custom clients will require a VPN to change their IP address to one within your network to connect to the appliance server. Without the VPN, they will not be able to locate or connect to your appliance server.

Offline Usage of AnyDesk:

Unlike the Cloud version, which requires internet access for database connectivity, the On-Premises solution removes this limitation by utilizing your own server. As long as both endpoints can detect your locally hosted server, sessions can be initiated between them, completely independent of internet access.

Additionally, the AnyDesk appliance server can be made publicly accessible over the internet, allowing custom clients in different locations to connect to it.

Network Security and Customization:

For companies with stringent security policies, On-Premises facilitates exclusive use of administrator-configured AnyDesk clients on their internal devices. By blocking access to regular AnyDesk network addresses in the office network, Cloud versions of AnyDesk become unusable on office devices. However, pre-configured On-Premises custom clients will continue to function seamlessly without requiring AnyDesk servers for data retrieval.

Data Privacy Compliance:

By hosting your own AnyDesk appliance server, you also manage the database, ensuring complete control over the stored data. This empowers you to manage and remove session history as required for privacy compliance or manipulate specific elements. Furthermore, access to the database enables you to oversee and control allowed IP addresses for connecting to your appliance server.
